Cozy Bungalow - 5 mins. to The Ottawa Hospital!

We have travelled extensively and used the services offered by numerous property rental companies, including VRBO….this house is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best we have rented. The location was ideal, quiet (surprising given the fact that it is off Industrial Avenue) clean and just as important: very well equipped. I have learned, over the years, to plan….and because we drove to Ottawa from Manitoulin island, I brought large boxes of equipment…slow cooker, Dutch oven, frying pans…the works and even my whole spice rack. We have stayed in houses where the only salt and pepper available was in a bowl of small sachets that come with take out or delivery orders. This was not the case this time around. Everything was already available…even a well stocked spice rack! Now, this was very important to us as we used the house as an oasis and a working kitchen. Our daughter gave birth to twins and we were there to provide help and support. We were not even one kilometre from CHEO and no more than ten minutes from her house. I cannot say enough about this house. It was not cheap, not at all, but well worth it. All good, no concerns. Would recommend! Positive: The property was exceptionally well stocked with all the basics and very clean upon our arrival. There's ample parking, a mall and coffee shop within walking distance. Also, during the winter months, the driveway and walkway were cleared of snow regularly. Whenever I needed to contact the property owner/manager, the response was always prompt.
